Tanzania Education Fund Supporters provide the foundation for
Nianjema Secondary and High School and the success of its students

Opportunities for planned giving and/or named endowments include:

Science laboratory, including updating equipment, providing adequate tools and supplies for individual learning and sustaining support)

Solar network, including solar panels, wiring, and other supplies. This will allow the school to cope with power outages, lower energy costs so that funds can be redirected to educational projects and solve a serious safety issue (students use candles in dormitories when the power goes out)

A school bus, which will allow the students to take field trips and Nianjema to transport people who need medical care

A medical clinic, which will serve Nianjema students and people throughout the Bagamoyo area.

An industrial solar oven, which will allow Nianjema to increase its efforts to improve the nutrition of students and teachers and the variety of meals provided

Scholarships to provide opportunity to students based on need or merit.


Planned Giving

Larger gifts are central to the future of Nianjema. Naming opportunities for large gifts and endowments are available and can be tailored to the experience and interest of givers.

Bequests

Bequests made through a will or living trust can be directed to Nianjema Secondary and High School through the Tanzania Education Fund. Bequests may be stated as a percentage of your estate, as the residual of your estate, or for a specific dollar amount.

Endowments

Endowments are gifts held in perpetuity and provide dependable support for specific needs. TEF invests the initial gift, and spends only a portion of the average annual investment return. The remainder is added to the principal as protection against inflation.

Deferred Gifts

Deferred giving options are available. Please consult with your financial advisor to explore these options with us.
