What We Do

TEF is operated by organizational officers and a board that meets to review Nianjema’s progress, financial income and outflow for both TEF and the school, and brainstorms new ways to sustain Nianjema’s continuing viability and success.

The board advises administrators, reviews progress and fundraises for the school. It also acts as a liaison to the Nianjema Trustees.

TEF Board and donor activities have resulted in funds for:

1. Scholarships
2. School buildings
3. Supplies, including science laboratory equipment, text books and more than 10,000 books for the library
4. An air-conditioned computer lab and more than 100 computers
5. Nianjema’s continuing viability and success
